Tesla Motors Making Cool Looking Cars!

Well actually at the present time they're only making one car, and it's a 2 person roadster that's selling for $80,000...so when I say they're 'making cool cars' I'm a bit off.

They do plan on trying to make a sedan on a larger basis, therefore bringing the cost down to something hopefully more affordable...by 2008.

This is a great looking car and some awesome sounding technology. I want one. If anyone wants to buy me one, let me know. :-)

Go click on the link and check it out.
The car is 100% electric.
It goes fast; 0 to 60 in about 4 seconds.
You recharge it at home.

Did I mention it looked cool? Yes I did.

Americans Won't Be Rescued Unless They Agree To Repay Government For Rescue!

I would love to be able to comment "Unbelievable" but I'm way beyond having any notion that our present administration cares about its citizens.

Americans have been told to wait for a telephone call that could come in hours or days. They've also been told they can't board a ship unless they've signed a contract agreeing to repay the U.S. government for the price of their evacuation.

The rules have angered Americans who are already fatigued and nervous after days of explosions. "I'm freaked out that our government is treating us this way," snapped a Rutgers University student who had been studying Arabic at the American University of Beirut. She declined to give her name for fear she would be taken off the passenger list in retribution for criticizing the evacuation effort.

"Are we a Third World country or what?" she said.

Female students from the American University of Beirut, who had been huddled on the ground floor of their dormitory in case of missile strikes, said they were instructed to take a blanket and a three-day supply of food to Cyprus. They were panicked at the notion of sleeping on the street in a strange country.

U.S. Rescue Bogs Down in Lebanon

They Used To Call Me "Mr. Magic Fingers" heh heh

Bush apparently still hasn't picked up on the finer points of presidential decorum. Melissa has a nice piece on the unwelcomed massage he tried to give German Chancellor Merkel. There are links to more pictures and a video of the event.

Nothing like a neck massage from the antichrist...wake ya up faster than a double expresso. "Chills up, Chills down.." lol Makes me want to go buy him one of those t-shirts that has a sheep on the front with the caption "Baaaaaa means Nooooo!" Don't know why I thought of that but am sure there's a good reason.

Anyways go check out Melissa's article over at Alternet. And visit her at her Shakespeare's Sister site (see sidebar link).

Domestic Call Monitoring Started Before 9/11

Bloomberg News released a piece late last week reporting that the program to monitor domestic phone calls was being set up months before the United States suffered the terrible terrorist attack on September 11th. Thanks to Evan at Alternet for posting this one check it out here.

"The U.S. National Security Agency asked AT&T Inc. to help it set up a domestic call monitoring site seven months before the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, lawyers claimed June 23 in court papers filed in New York federal court."

So many lies.
Impeach!
