This book looks like a pretty funny one. One to check out if you get a chance.

I like the one about the women wearing veils ... because many evangelicals believe that men are the (wait for it) "head" of the house. They love to quote the verses around that verse in Corinthians that talk about men being the head of the house, but conveniently forget that if they're going that route, their women ought to be actually wearing veils ... AND not wearing any jewelry to boot!!! But don't get me started about how they love to pick and choose, because that inferno can rage for hours.
Glad to see you posting again ... I've seen some of the hoopla about that book. I think I'll have to get it, it looks like a good laugh. Or maybe not, maybe I'll just cry.
